Declaration of Faith - What We Believe
In the church of Jesus Christ, all who have received Him as Lord and Savior are in one body. Moreover, one day soon we
will all be together with Him in heaven. Unfortunately, here on the Earth there are differences between churches and what
we believe. Logically, there can not be different truths. There is one absolute truth that is the Word of God. The differences
come out of our varied interpretations of the Word. In spite of the differences, we give place to the Word of God and before
any denomination or group, we consider ourselves Christians, followers of Christ.
There is no one who has all knowledge of truth, except God, but some have received more revelation than others. We present
these following beliefs only for the purpose of explaining our understanding of the foundational beliefs of Christianity.
If you understand things a little differently, we love you just the same. What's more important than any doctrine is that
you've have received Jesus Christ in a personal and intimate way at some point in your life. After that, should you have questions

We believe in...
1. The Scriptures
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of holy men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy
Spirit. The New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, we accept as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct
and doctrine. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21; 1 Thessalonians 2:13).
2. The Trinity
Our God is One, but manifested in three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Philippians 2:6).
God the Father is greater than all, and He is the Source of the Word (Logos) and the Begetter. (John 14:28; John 16:28; John
1:14) The Son is the flesh-covered Word, the Only Begotten, and has existed with the Father from the beginning. (John 1:14;
John 1:18; John 1:1). The Holy Spirit proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son and is eternal. (John 15:26).
3. Man: His Fall and Redemption
Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God. But through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into
the world. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 that "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." In Romans
3:10 it says, "As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one." Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested
to undo the work of the devil, and He gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God. (Romans 5:12;
Romans 3:23; Romans 3:10; 1 John 3:8). Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the law, and is made operative
by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God. (Ephesians 2:8).
4. Eternal Life and the New Birth
Man's first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that works repentance. The new birth is available to all mankind, and
when Jesus Christ is accepted as Savior, salvation takes place. He is born again. His spirit becomes alive to God eternally.
(2 Corinthians 7:10; 1 John 5:12; John 3:3-5).
5. Baptism in Water
Baptism in water is by immersion. It is a direct commandment of our Lord, and it is for believers only. The ordinance
is a symbol of the Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4;
Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:36-39). The following recommendation regarding the water baptismal formula is adopted to wit: "On
the confession of your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and by His authority, I baptize you in the name of
the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen."
6. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
The baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire is a gift from God. It is promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to those who are believers
in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of
the speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance. (Matthew 3:11; John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:38-39;
Acts 19:1-7; Acts 2:4).
7. Sanctification
The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite,
yet progressive, work of grace, which commences at the time of regeneration and continues until the consummation of salvation.
(Hebrews 12:14; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 2 Peter 3:18; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:12-14; 1 Corinthians 1:30).
8. Divine Healing
Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and
by laying on of hands. It is provided in the atonement of Christ, and it is the privilege of every member of the church today.
(Mark 16:18; James 5:14-16; 1 Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17; Isaiah 53:4-5).
9. Resurrection of the Just and the Return of Our Lord
The angels said, "...this same Jesus shall so come in like manner..." (Acts 1:11). His coming is imminent. When
He comes, "the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them
in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air" (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). Following the Tribulation, He shall return to earth,
as KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS; and together with His saints, who shall be kings and priests, He shall reign a thousand
years. (Revelation 19:16; Revelation 20:6).
10. Hell and Eternal Retribution
The person who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire. Therefore,
he has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or for repentance. The lake of fire is literal. The terms "eternal"
and "everlasting" used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the lake of fire carry the
same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in noting the duration of joy and ecstasy of the saints in the presence
of God. (Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:15).

Declaración de Fe - Lo Que Creemos
En la iglesia de Jesucristo, todos los que le hemos recibido como Señor y Salvador somos de un solo cuerpo. Más un día
prónto todos estaremos juntos en cielo con él. Desfotunadamente, aquí en la tierra existen diferencias entre las iglesias
y lo que creen. Logicamente, no hay varias verdades. Hay una verdad absoluta que es la Palabra de Dios. Las diferencias salen
de nuestra interpretación variada de la Palabra. A pesar de las diferencias, nosotros damos primer lugar a la Palabra de Dios
y antes de cualquier denominación o grupo, nosotros nos consideramos cristianos, es decir seguidores de Cristo.
No hay nadie que tiene toda la verdad pero algunos han recibido más revelación que otros. Presentamos estes diez creyencias
solamente con el propósito de explicar nuestro entendimiento de las creyencias fundamentales del cristianismo. Si Ud. las
entiende un poco diferente, le amamos igual. Lo que mas importa que cualquiera doctrina es que Ud. ha recibido en forma personal
e intima a Jesucristo en un momento de su vida. Luego, si Ud. tiene preguntas en cuanto de porque creemos lo que creemos,

1. Las Escrituras
La Biblia es la Palabra inspirada por Dios, es el producto de lo que hablaron y escribieron santos hombres de la antigüedad
al ser movidos por el Espíritu Santo. El Nuevo Pacto, como está registrado en el Nuevo Testamento, es aceptado por nosotros
como nuestra guía infalible en los asuntos relativos a la conducta y doctrina (2 Ti. 3:16, 1 Ts. 2:13, 2 P. 1:21).
2. La Trinidad
Nuestro Dios es uno, pero se manifiesta en tres personas – el Padre, el Hijo y el Espíritu Santo, siendo iguales
(Fil. 2:6). El Padre es mayor que todo; El fue quien envió la Palabra (el Logos) y fue el Engendrador (Juan 14:28, Juan 16:28,
Juan 1:14). El Hijo es la Palabra cubierta de carne, el Unigénito, y ha existido con el Padre desde el principio (Juan 1:1,
Juan 1:8, Juan 1:14). El Espíritu Santo procede tanto del Padre como del Hijo y es eterno (Juan 15:26).
3. El Hombre: Su Caída y Redención
El hombre es un ser creado, hecho a la imagen y semejanza de Dios, pero a través de la transgresión y caída de Adán, el
pecado vino al mundo. "Por cuanto todos pecaron y están destituidos de la gloria de Dios". "Como está escrito:
No hay justo ni aún uno". Jesucristo, el Hijo de Dios fue manifestado para deshacer las obras del diablo y dio Su vida
y derramó Su sangre para redimir y restaurar al hombre, aparte de las obras y la ley, y se hace operativa por medio de la
gracia a través de la fe en Jesucristo, produciendo obras aceptables para Dios (Ef. 2:8).
4. La Vida Eterna y el Nuevo Nacimiento
El primer paso del hombre hacia la salvación es la convicción de pecado por el Espíritu Santo que obra para arrepentimiento.
Todos los hombres necesitan el Nuevo Nacimiento, y cuando lo experimentan, produce vida eterna (2 Co. 7:10, 1 Juan 5:12, Juan
3:3-5).
5. El Bautismo en Agua
El Bautismo en agua es por inmersión, como un mandamiento directo de nuestro Señor, y es sólo para creyentes. Esta ordenanza
es un símbolo de la identificación del cristiano con Cristo en Su muerte, sepultura y resurrección (Mt. 28:19, Ro. 6:4, Col.
2:12, Hechos 8:36-39). Hemos adoptado la siguiente oración para bautizar en Agua: "Por la confesión de tu fe en el Señor
Jesucristo, el Hijo de Dios, y por Su autoridad, yo te bautizo en el Nombre del Padre, y del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo. Amén".
6. El Bautismo en el Espíritu Santo
El Bautismo en el Espíritu Santo y fuego es un don que Dios ha prometido a todos los creyentes por medio de Jesucristo
en esta dispensación y se recibe posteriormente al Nuevo Nacimiento. Esta experiencia es acompañada por la evidencia inicial
de hablar en lenguas según el mismo Espíritu Santo (Mt. 3:11, Juan 14:16-17, Hechos 2:38-39, Hechos 19:1-7, Hechos 2:4).
7. La Santificación
La Biblia enseña que sin santidad nadie verá a Dios. Creo en la doctrina de la salvación como una obra definida. Sin embargo,
es una obra progresiva y de gracia, produciendo santificación, que comenzó con el Nuevo Nacimiento y que continuará hasta
la consumación de la salvación en el retorno de Cristo (He. 12:14, 1 Ts. 5:23, 2 P. 3:18, Fil. 3:12-14, 1 Co. 1:30).
8. La Sanidad Divina
La sanidad es para las enfermedades físicas y es traída por el poder de Dios a través de la oración de fe, y por la imposición
de manos. Fue provista para nosotros por la expiación de Cristo, y es privilegio de cada miembro de la Iglesia de hoy (Marcos
16:18, Stg. 5:14-15, 1 P. 2:24, Mt. 8:17, Isaías 53:4-5).
9. La Resurrección de los Justos y el Retorno de Nuestro Señor
Los ángeles dijeron a los discípulos de Jesús: "...este mismo Jesús que ha sido tomado de vosotros al cielo, así
vendrá como le habéis visto ir al cielo". Su venida es inminente. Cuando El venga: "...los muertos en Cristo resucitarán
primero; y nosotros los que quedemos seremos tomados con ellos en las nubes para encontrarnos con el Señor en el aire..."
(Hch. 1:11, 1 Ts. 4:16-17). Después de la tribulación, El volverá a la tierra como Rey de reyes y Señor de señores, y junto
a Sus santos, que serán reyes y sacerdotes, reinarán por mil años (Ap. 20:6).
10. El Infierno y el Castigo Eterno
Aquel que muera físicamente en sus pecados sin haber aceptado a Cristo no tiene esperanza y está perdido eternamente en
el Lago de Fuego y, por lo tanto, no tiene otra oportunidad para escuchar el evangelio y arrepentirse. El Lago de Fuego es
literal. Los términos "eterno" y "perpetuo", usados para describir la duración del castigo de los condenados
en el Lago de Fuego, lleva el mismo pensamiento y significado de una existencia sin fin, tal como es usada para denotar la
duración del gozo y el éxtasis de los santos en la presencia de Dios (He. 9:27, Ap. 19:20)
